Manuel Lemos (radio A ultima fronteira) review for Ancient Shadows

After some time of waiting, at last we can enjoy an album that many of us had been eagerly waiting nervous because its advance samples left us with a notorious impatience, wanting to fulfill that sweet journey through the voice of Priscilla Hernandez to a realm full of beautiful melodies in the shape of a New age gothic film-like music that introduces in our right hemisphere of the brain in a furtive but convincing way. From the first theme(after a short intro) Away binds you with an hypnotical and invisible belt that promises that those piano and keyboard sounds won't leave us till the very exit of the cd. There's also place for smoking drums (as in the track that gives name to the album) and celtic flavours so important in our tales. An impressive work just like the wind that moves the branches of trees or the fairy wings that brings music to the air. TREMENDOUS!!!
